DRAIN THE SWAMP: I think the #1 priority in DC should be eliminating the influence of money in politics. This is something that resonates with Trump voters, progressives, independents and everyone in-between. It also contributed to the electoral downfall of Hillary Clinton.

Since the Citizen United ruling in January 2010, our elections have gone downhill. The Democrats have been losing legislatures and Congressional seats. Why? Because the Republicans sell themselves cheaper.

Then, Bernie Sanders showed that the voter is actually waiting for candidates to swear off the corporate/PAC money. Bernie raised over $230 million dollars and got over 40% of the vote in the primary with low name recognition, the superdelegates, the media and the DNC all rigged against him.

The time is now to make dark money a liability in elections and differentiate Democrats from Republicans. This must be the #1 priority because it is the ill underlying pollution, wars of choice, privatization of healthcare, education and so much more, at every level of government.
