I’m not persuaded by the many articles on Medium that claim to be former Sanders backers but go on to praise Hillary effusively and badmouth his supporters using ad hominem attacks. I’d LOVE to see comparisons of Bernies healthcare and economic policies with the corporate candidates and talk policy instead of the “horse race”.

When I talk about centrist Dems, I talk about policy and the influence of billionaire donors. I do not attack their supporters, we do not need to judge, shame or divide Dems we need to elevate the discussion and be prepared to unite factions in the end.

Whether someone supports Bernie or not, we must acknowledge his example in changing modern presidential elections forever in proving that small donors can generate hundreds of millions and thereby, cut the corrupting influence of corporate PAC and billionaire money out of our political system.
